Overview:

'The Plight of Skymoore' is an interactive narrative-focused game where the player must find and prevent cultists from taking over the medieval kingdom of Skymoore. You play as Sir Pendleton II, a visiting knight who finds himself in the midst of a cultist hysteria. The citizens and soldiers alike are aware of the presence of these cultists however cannot identify them as they blend in within the population. It is now up to Sir Pendleton II to step up and find the cultist leader before he orders the destruction of the town. Can you successfully stop these cultists from taking over the kingdom of Skymoore?

This immersive town also serves as a showcase of essential skills that a game designer should keep in mind when creating interactive experiences such as ludonarrative harmony, where a player's input and choices in gameplay directly influence the story's progression. Furthermore, another essential skill to achieve visual storytelling is utilizing 'mise en scène,' which is the arrangement of architecture and props to convey the game's theme and mood. Below is my vision document for 'The Plight of Skymoore' which was a first draft of my ideas and inspiration for creating the game.
